Dangerous goods

In today's transport business the dangerous goods topic is inevitable. Lawmakers implemented mandatory seminars concerning security during the entire transport chain . A distinction is made according to the individual modes of transport in order to take account of the specific requirements in each case. Our special training courses:

  • dangerous - instruction 1.3 (ADR, RID, IMDG)
  • dangerous goods consulting / external safety adviser
  • IATA PK 1, 2 and 6 allowed LBA

Dangerous - instruction 1.3 (ADR, RID, IMDG)

Hazmat training is a requirement for all companies that deal with hazardous materials. What does that mean?

First, you should consider whether your company receives dangerous goods for transport. Here are a few examples:

  • electric double-layer capacitors (since 1.1.2013)
  • lighters for advertising purposes
  • aerosols
  • paint and coatings
  • adhesives

Should this be the case, all employees who are involved in the shipment preparation must complete an instruction seminar. Even if employees with a valid certificate according to IATA (air cargo) are active in the company, a function-specific training under ADR (road) must be completed.

Participants receive comprehensive instructions to be observed in transportation of hazardous goods , and learn how they can implement them fully in your company.

The following content is required by law:

  • general provisions
  • hazard characteristics
  • hidden dangerous goods
  • documentation
  • vehicle and transport types
  • packing, equipment
  • marking, labeling and orange warning plate
  • execution of carriage
  • duties, responsibilities and sanctions
  • measures after accidents and incidents

The advantages for your company:

  • fulfillment of legal requirements
  • this training can be specially adapted to your needs and can be carried out in your company
